- Won top honors in the International Communicator Award program and a Telly Award for video program associated with the NBC controllership renovation initiative.
- Consulted to several large companies on internal control and audit practices.
- Developed and led financial leadership seminar for AT&T on Renovating Internal Controls for Speed and Self-Confidence.
- Developed and led financial leadership program for General Instrument Corporation titled, Controllership Best Practices.
- Developed and led the Renovating Internal Control Practices Conference for the Institute of Management Accountants.
- Lead author for Guidance on Internal Control report, published by the Institute of Management Accountants for the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission (also known as the COSO).
- Authored New Directions in Internal Auditing, published by The Conference Board. This comprehensive research report analyzes the practices of 375 corporate audit departments.
- Lead author of “What is Internal Control? — Who Owns It,” Management Accounting, November, 1990, pp. 37-40.
- “Are Management Reports on Financial Statement Responsibility Useful?,” Management Accounting, September, 1991, pp. 41-46.
